1. Introduction
JA Sargas - 1st JATC template for Nov 06 is released. JoomlArt is proud to bring to our club members another highly accessible Joomla design. With a simple and grey color, JA Sargas is recommended for portal site with large content. As all other JA templates, the accessibility matters of the templates are of high attention. The essence of accessibility is to put the content of a web page first and the design second, therefore the "Content First" css technique is introduced in this Joomla template; if you view source codes of the JA Sargas demo site, you will see that the mainbody texts are loaded first instead of left column like other template. This not only means that the content is easier to view with all type of browsers but also helps with search engine rankings. Moreover, five built-in menu options are revamped and all menu items now have it's own title tag: <Title="Menu name">New! Especially, the Horizontal JA Dropline menu Updated! is totally rewritten so that user can navigate more comfortable since it's first presence at JA Kruger. All of these improvements simply are parts of our effort to enhance web accessibility for your Joomla sites.

2. Menu Types Configuration
JA Sargas offers you 4 fancy types of menu: JA Split Menu, JA CSS Menu, JA Transmenuand JA Script Dropline Menu
To choose your menu type, go to the 40th line in the "ja_sargas/index.php" and change $ja_menutype to what you need.
1 is Split Menu, 2 is CSS Menu, 3 is Transmenu and 4 isthe new JA Script Dropline Menu!

Note: If you decide to use one of these menu, don't forget to unpublish the module name Main Menu in your administration panel to make your site look smoother.

3. Screen Resolution Configuration
JA Sargas allow you to set 2 types of screen resolution. You can easily config JA Sargas template's width by modifying the Template Configurations part in the "ja_sargas/index.php".

To choose which screen's width you want to use, go to the 28th line of the "ja_sargas/index.php" file and change the value of $ja_width_default to 'wide' (1024x768) or 'narrow' (800x600).


4. Font Resizer Configuration
You can also configurate the font resizer function. Go to "ja_sargas/index.php" and replace the value of $ja_font_size_default to the size you want. You can choose the font size ranged from 1 upto 6.


5. Color Theme Configuration
You can configure the default color theme of JA Sargas too. You can switch it to alternate to make the template fit in your overall theme. We provide the alternate colors 'green' and 'orange' beside the 'default' style.


6. sIFR Mambot Installation
To have a stylish heading/title showing like the demo, please install the sIFR mambot provide in Sargas download section. If you want to use this mambot, please follow these steps:

• Go to your Administration Panel, and choose the Modules in Install Menu.
  
  Then, choose the mos_sifr.zip (you can download the file in JA Pollux Club Download Folder). And then, press the Upload & Install button.

• After successfully installed, the modules will be placed at menu Modules -> Site Mambots
  
  Navigate through the list and select mos_sifr.

• mos_sifr provides you 3 predefined type of fonts. You can choose it from the parameter of the mambot.
  

7. JA CoolAds Module
JA Sargas offers you a new style of flashing module named JA CoolAds Module. If you want to use this module, please follow these steps.

• Go to your Administration Panel, and choose the Modules in Install Menu.
  
  Then, choose the mod_ja_coolads.zip (you can download the file in JA Pollux Club Download Folder). And then, press the Upload & Install button.

• After successfully installed, the modules will be placed at menu Modules -> Site Modules

• In Module Detail Settings, please set up the module attributes look exactly like this image.

For more information, these settings mean:

Enable Hide Button: Show the "Hide" button. If people click this button, ads will no longer be showed in this current session.

Enable Close Button: Show the "Close" button. If people click this button, ads will no longer be showed forever until the cookie is cleared.

Animation Duration: Duration of the animation, by miliseconds. It determines how long your ads will animate.

Wait To Appear: Waiting time of any ads to appear in the page (after page load completed), by minutes.

Wait On Second Load: Waiting time of any ads to appear in the page (after the first ad is loaded), by minutes. During this time, no ads will be showed when you navigate the site.

Module Position To Show: Module positions to be showed on ads. Please don't add the position of CoolAds here because it will make a forever recursive loop. Making your positions publish/unpublish in each page will make your ads different from these pages.

Module Position Alignment: Module positions alignment for each module positions above. Leave blank setting will make it centered.

Starting Day and Ending Day: Timeline for the ads to be showed. The format will be YY/MM/DD (e.g. 06/10/29). Leave it blank will make no timeline restrictions.

• The position of the hide & close buttons are a bit too high. To fix it, go to the file mod_ja_coolads.php located in modules folder and change the 48th line:

8. Other Notices

• If you want to change or remove something in the footer, just open the "ja_sargas/footer.php" then modify it to suite your needs.
• The may show some extra padding and margin. To solve this problem, go to your Joomla! Administrator -> Mambots -> Site Mambots and change the margin and padding parameters of MOS Image mambot to 0.
• PSD/PNG files and fonts can be found in the template's source package. Please download the file at our download page in case you need to modify something.
• You can easily enable and/or disable the tools in JA Sargas. Go to the 37th line of "ja_sargas/index.php" and change the value of $ja_tool to the value you want. For example, 0 is disable screen and color, 3 is enable both.
  

• You can add more header decoration to your banner by adding more image to the /header-deco/ folder in each color. These image will be randomly showed when the page is loaded.
• JA Sargas template also supports multiple colors. To add another color, go to the 21st line and add the color you want to the array $ja_color_themes.
  

• JA Sargas provides three types of module class suffix. To make a module showed in hight light mode (like the "Did you know?" module in the demo page), add the class suffix -cyan, -orange or -green to your module parameter.
